Regarding decision-making, the new process (JESP), which will be used by the Jakarta EE Working Group to advance Jakarta EE. JESP is based on the open principles of the Eclipse Foundation Specification Process (EFSP) accepted by the community. Approval from an absolute majority of the strategic members of the working group is required to approve any changes to the Jakarta EE specifications or to form a new version, in addition to any other voting regulations defined in the EFSP.
