- In light of upcoming plans to transform Parrot into a general-purpose distribution (a Parro Home edition is being prepared), the main project website is being changed from parrotsec.org to parrotlinux.org;
- The project is also preparing to create an LTS branch, which is why the current repository has been renamed from 'stable' to 'rolling' (for users, the transition is seamless and does not require manual changes);
- The menu structure for security testing utilities has been redesigned. Utilities are now organized using a hierarchical structure;
- An optionally enabled application launch mode has been added, isolating applications from the rest of the system (isolation is achieved using firejail and apparmor);
- The MATE desktop has been updated to version 1.22. Updated versions of programs, including Firefox, radare2, cutter, etc.
