The new browser with the telling name Next is designed for keyboard management, so it lacks a conventional interface. Keyboard shortcuts similar to those used in Emacs and vi.
The browser can be configure customized and supplemented with extensions in the Lisp language.
There is an option for "fuzzy" searching – where it’s not necessary to input consecutive letters of a specific word/words, but it’s enough to provide several scattered (but sequentially occurring) letters from the searched word.
Search history is stored in a tree structure, making it easier to track transitions between pages.
Next is in active development, so the creators encourage reporting any detected bugs and sharing ideas and suggestions. The development can also be supported financially..
