MaSzyna is a free railway transport simulator created in 2001 by Polish developer Martin Wojnik.
New version MaSzyna includes over 150 scenarios and about 20 scenes, including one realistic scene based on a real Polish railway route «Ozimek — Częstochowa» (total length of the tracks is about 75 km in the southwestern part of Poland). Fictional scenes are represented by high-speed railways, suburban railways, and there are also scenes designed for train derailment scenarios on sidings.
There are simulator reviews mainly in Polish (review of MaSzyna 19.08), but there is also a decent review of previous versions in Russian.
The binary package in the form of an EXE installer (~ 2.5 MB) is prepared for platforms WINE and MS Windows. Installation requires 22.5 GB of free disk space.
