OpenBVE — a free train transport simulator written in the programming language C#.
OpenBVE was developed as an alternative to the train simulator BVE Trainsim, which is why most routes from BVE Trainsim (versions 2 and 4) are suitable for OpenBVE. The program features realistic physics of movement and graphics, a side-view of the train, animated surroundings, and sound effects.
On September 18, a significant release of version 1.7.0.0was followed shortly by a patch release 1.7.0.1.
