Modders have found a way to improve the graphics quality in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch. The authors of the YouTube channel Modern Vintage Gamer claim that on a modified version of the console, the game can run at 60 frames per second.
Enthusiasts have stated that the version of The Witcher 3 for Nintendo Switch is a copy of the PC version of the game, just with lower graphics settings. It runs on the console at a resolution of 720p and 30 frames per second.
They also discovered that anyone can unlock additional graphics features in the game. According to them, it is necessary to insert a file into the system. This will allow disabling dynamic resolution and enabling features such as foliage density and post-processing.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Complete Edition was released on Nintendo Switch on October 15. The ported version received positive reviews from critics, scoring 85 points on Metacritic.
