It seems that Microsoft is seriously promoting its Mixer service through popular streamers. This summer, the corporation struck a deal with Ninja and, , paid Tyler Blevins about a billion dollars to switch to the new platform (though the exact amount has not been disclosed). Now another well-known streamer, Michael Shroud Grzesiek, has announced that he will exclusively stream on Mixer.
In a tweet, the Canadian streamer posted a video where he slowly approaches his computer. Then the lights come on, Shroud waves to his cat, and turns on the PC. The Microsoft platform's logo slowly lights up on the screen, and the message is accompanied by to his "new home."
Activity on Michael Grzesiek's page on Mixer has skyrocketed. However, Shroud's account is still active, and at the time of writing, it features a restream of the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It is still unknown whether Microsoft paid the Canadian blogger to switch to Mixer. There are no details regarding the deal, if it exists.
