A new version of the i3-compatible tiling window manager has been released Sway 1.4 (for Wayland and XWayland). The compositor library has been updated wlroots 0.10.0 (enabling the development of other WMs for Wayland). Version 1.3 was skipped for technical reasons. Main changes:
- Support for VNC via wayvnc (RDP support removed)
- Partial support for MATE panel
- Support for xdg-shell v6 has been removed
