The new app supports collaboration mode, where users can create and edit documents in real-time. Documents can be stored on the user's device or in the cloud. In addition to familiar Word and Excel documents, users will be able to instantly create PDFs and sign them using a fingerprint scanner. The app makes it easy to transfer files between smartphones and computers, as well as send them to multiple devices at once.
The app can be used without logging in, but to access documents and store them in OneDrive, a Microsoft account will be required. The Office app is compatible with mobile devices running Android Marshmallow and later versions of the OS.
The new app, which combines a set of popular office tools from Microsoft, is already published in the official digital content store, Google Play Store.
