The release of the NethServer 7.7 distribution, based on CentOS, has taken place.
The main feature of the product is its modular architecture, which simplifies transforming the distribution into a mail server and filter, web server, groupware software, firewall, web filter, IPS/IDS, or VPN server.
The new version of NethServer includes:
- Fully equipped and available by default for new installations, Cockpit simplifies server administration by providing a modern and user-friendly interface.
- New interface and statistics for VPN.
- New interface for the firewall panel and monitoring dashboard.
- New interface for fail2ban and Web Proxy.
- New control panel for file server, shared folder statistics, and audit integration.
- A new way to manage multiple backups and recovery.
- New panel for UPS and NUT.
- New system reports.
- New integration with Apache.
The distribution also includes:
- Webtop 5.7.3
- Mattermost 5.15
- NextCloud 16.0.5
