- Support has been added for the Sony Xperia 10 smartphone, which became the first device for which Sailfish has the default feature of encrypting the user data partition and activated access control based on SELinux. SELinux is currently only applied to screen management components and systemd services.
- Developers of the Aurora mobile operating system (localized version of Sailfish from Rostelecom) have optimized the interface for making and receiving calls. For incoming calls, the country is displayed if the call is coming from abroad. The call end notification procedure has been completely redesigned, eliminating the full-screen dialog and now implemented as a discreet pop-up window with buttons allowing the user to redial or send a text message. A reminder for the need to make a call has also been added — setting the reminder is done by long pressing the contact's name in the call history list.
- The developers of the Aurora OS have also implemented the following improvements:
- Support for data partition encryption has been added.
- Preparation for isolating various parts of the OS using SELinux has been conducted.

- The number of EAP options offered in wireless network settings has been expanded.
- The problem with authentication via protected password certificates in OpenVPN has been resolved.
- Notifications about low battery charge are now less intrusive and more rare.
- The interface has been adapted for new users — menus are made more noticeable, and operations for deleting notes or entries in the address book are more straightforward.
- The alarm clock app has been revamped. You can now delay the alarm signal by 5 to 30 minutes. The timer can now be set with precision to the nearest second, and all saved timers can be reset at once.
- Issues with opening the Twitter website in the browser have been resolved, and support for WebGL has been established.
- Search optimization in the address book has been performed when there are a large number of contacts synchronized with other devices.
- The compatibility layer for Android has been updated to Android 8.1. The reliability of launching Android applications has been improved, and the performance of contact searches in the Android address book has been enhanced.
