Today, the results of the voting that took place were published in the mailing list (one of the officially announced channels), started which started on October 10 and ended on November 7, 2019.
In response to the question, 'Are we changing the project's name?' the votes were distributed as follows:
- In favor — 42
- Against — 225
The total number of voters was 491. It is important to note that there was no option for 'Abstained,' so those who wished to vote that way fell into the category of 'did not vote.'
The voting results raise new questions for discussion and resolution, namely: how and in what form an agreement with SUSE LLC. will be achieved, what guarantees it will provide, and what restrictions it will impose on the project.
