For the second consecutive year, a study conducted by Forbes in partnership with the non-profit research group Just Capital shows that Microsoft is the most ethical public company in the U.S.

Researchers at Just Capital surveyed over 4,000 Americans, gathering opinions from respondents on 1,000 of the most profitable corporations in the country across 29 questions, including pay, benefits, prioritization of personal diversity and individual capabilities, as well as how well they treat customers and shareholders. Social engagement, including a company's participation in addressing environmental issues and local community problems, was also taken into account.
Microsoft topped the list, followed by NVIDIA, Apple, Intel, and Salesforce.com, with Alphabet in sixth place.
Here’s how the top ten looks:
- 1. Microsoft;
- 2. NVIDIA;
