Canonical server edition builds of the Ubuntu 19.10.1 distribution for Raspberry Pi boards. The 32-bit builds are for Raspberry Pi 2, 3, and 4, while the 64-bit builds are for Raspberry Pi 3 and 4. The proposed builds have resolved the USB support issue on Raspberry Pi 4 boards with 4GB RAM (previously due to in the kernel, support was only available for boards with 1 and 2 GB RAM).
It is noted that Canonical considers Raspberry Pi boards as primary platforms for Ubuntu and actively collaborates with the Raspberry Pi Foundation to ensure quality support for new boards in its distribution. Future plans include the creation of specialized Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS and Ubuntu Core builds for Raspberry Pi.
