Network sources report that OPPO is close to releasing a productive Reno S smartphone on the Qualcomm hardware platform.
The device is coded CPH2015. Information about the new product has already been published on the website of a number of regulators in various regions, including in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The “heart” of the smartphone will be the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The chip combines eight Kryo 485 cores with a clock speed of 2,96 GHz and an Adreno 640 graphics accelerator with a frequency of 672 MHz.
It is known that the new product will receive support for SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology with a power of 65 W. This system allows you to fully charge a 4000 mAh battery in about half an hour.
The Reno S will be equipped with a multi-module rear camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor. The amount of RAM is likely to be at least 8 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB.
The official announcement of the smartphone is expected early next year. The approximate price of the device has already been announced - 560 US dollars.
