Derpibooru is the largest imageboard for the My Little Pony fan community in the world, catering to hundreds of thousands of users for nine consecutive years.
Until recently, the resource used a proprietary engine Booru-on-Rails, which was built on the framework of Ruby on Rails and MongoDB.
But now the site has moved to the engine Philomena, written in Elixir using the Phoenixframework, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
