The Microsoft Teams client is the first Microsoft 365 application released for Linux.
Microsoft Teams is a corporate platform that combines chat, meetings, notes, and attachments in a workspace. Developed by Microsoft as a competitor to the popular corporate solution Slack, the service was launched in November 2016. Microsoft Teams is part of the Office 365 suite and is distributed through corporate subscriptions. It is also integrated with Skype.
