Atlus Public Relations Specialist Ari Advincula commented on the request about the possibility of the Japanese role-playing game on Nintendo Switch.
"You want what you want, but if you don't let us know, we can never fulfill [those wishes]. It's important to always express your opinion," Advincula believes.
According to Advincula, she would be happy to see Persona 5 on Switch, but in this matter, "nothing is decided." Nevertheless, Atlus sees demand for a version for Nintendo's hybrid console.
At the moment, the fate of the Switch version of Persona 5 is uncertain, but Advincula urged those interested to "never lose hope" and "keep telling us about your wishes."
Ahead of many speculated (hoped) that the abbreviation P5S would stand for Persona 5 Switch, but in reality, Atlus was preparing to release an action spin-off of the game.
In Japan, Persona 5 Scramble will be available for sale on February 20, not only for PlayStation 4 but also for Nintendo Switch. However, the Western release currently does not have a specific date.
As for the main game, its expanded version with the "Royal" subtitle was released on PS4 in Japan back in October last year. Persona 5 Royal will arrive in English-speaking countries on March 31.
