Daily, 1.2 to 1.5 million new certificates are generated. The number of active certificates 116 million (the certificate is valid for three months) and covers approximately 195 million domains (a year ago, it covered 150 million domains, and two years ago — 61 million). According to Firefox Telemetry, the global share of page requests over HTTPS is 81% (up from 77% a year ago, 69% two years ago, and 58% three years ago), and in the U.S. — 91%.
Despite the fact that over the last three years, the number of domains covered by Let's Encrypt certificates has increased from 46 million to 195 million, the number of full-time employees has risen from 11 to 13, and the budget has increased from $2.61 million to $3.35 million.
