However, this approach does not sit well with experienced users who want to know exactly which website they are on. Thus, the latest version Chromium 83.0.4090.0 includes an optional flag that adds the ability to display the full address in the Omnibox context menu. This will make it easier to copy parts of the address, which can be useful at times.
To activate this feature, go to chrome://flags/#omnibox-context-menu-show-full-urls in the chrome://flags section. After enabling this parameter, you only need to restart the browser.
It is important to note that the flag is available in the early build of Chromium 83 and in Chrome Canary 83, but it only works in the first version. This is likely due to the suspension of new Chrome builds because many employees have been switched to remote work due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. Thus, we will have to wait for at least an early version of Chrome.
