Echtra Games and publisher Perfect World Entertainment have released a new trailer for Torchlight III. It introduces audiences to another playable class — the Sharpshooter.

In battles, the hero employs long-range skills, accurate shots, and various magical devices. Armed with not only a musket but also a bow, the Sharpshooter can unleash multiple shots in quick succession to swiftly eliminate foes. As players explore the world, they will be able to level up their character and acquire new skills, such as increasing the efficiency of ammo recovery.

The Sharpshooter is the fourth announced class in Torchlight III, joining the ranks of the Dusk Mage, Railmaster, and Forged. The hero has already appeared in the closed alpha version of the project, which is currently being tested on Steam.

The trailer accompanying the announcement of the new class showcases a wide array of the Sharpshooter's skills. He uses different types of ammo, throws bombs, places marks to weaken enemies, and sends forth multiple arrows in a cone in front of him, among other abilities. Additionally, the hero can summon ancient spirits that provide him with unique skills, including creating a spinning boulder, firing bursts of flame projectiles, and teleportation across the arena.
Torchlight III, which was previously Torchlight Frontiers, is set to launch in summer 2020 on Steam, with console versions arriving in stores shortly thereafter.
