Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the next additional character in the fighting game One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 will be Charlotte Smoothie. The character will join the roster of fighters in the summer of 2020, though the exact date has not yet been specified by the developers.
According to the portal , citing the official press release, the developers described the heroine with these words: "Charlotte Smoothie, the 14th daughter and 35th child in the family, will join the battles in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 this coming summer. This statuesque woman is a member of the Longleg Tribe and one of the three commanders of Big Mom's Pirates (Charlotte Linlin). In terms of authority among her subordinates, she ranks just below her mother. Smoothie has proven her prowess in strength and leadership, making her a formidable opponent in battles."
Details about the new character's abilities have not been provided by Bandai Namco, but fans can expect a canonical transfer of the heroine from the anime to the gaming world, as with other fighters.
The Western version of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 was released on March 27, 2020, for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game has received 1997 reviews, 88% of which are positive.
