Release of Kubuntu 20.04 LTS

Kubuntu 20.04 LTS has been released - a stable version of Ubuntu based on the KDE Applications 19.12.3 graphical environment. KDE Plasma 5.18 and a set of applications.

• Thunderbird is now installed by default instead of KMail.
• Elisa is now installed by default instead of Cantata.
• KDE PIM, KMail, and Kontact are no longer installed by default. You can download them from the repository.
• Support for KDE4 and Qt4 libraries and applications has been discontinued.
• Basic Wayland support (you need to download the plasma-workspace-wayland package). Full functionality is not guaranteed yet.

Upgrading from version 18.04 LTS will be available in June after the first point release 20.04.1 is released.

Expect the upgrade from version 19.10 soon.
