Just a reminder: all the impressive effects and realistic environments in The Heretic last year were rendered in real-time at 1400p resolution at 30 frames per second on a modern consumer gaming PC. The short film was created by the same team that previously demonstrated the engine's capabilities with .

The Heretic utilizes a wide range of Unity's graphics features, including every aspect of the High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP). The demonstration was given a cinematic look through the latest version of Unity's post-processing features: motion blur, bloom, depth of field, film grain, color grading, and Panini projection.

DSO Gaming journalists asked the Unity Engine if they plan to release this technical demonstration to the public, much like Adam Tech was released earlier. Unfortunately, the team currently has no such plans. However, interested developers , dedicated to The Heretic, which will take place on May 12. During this session, Unity evangelist Ashley Alicea will chat with Robert Kupisz and Krasimir Nechevski from the Unity team developing the demonstrations. They will discuss the work done on the demo and answer community questions.
