In mid-April, Bloober Team announced Observer: System Redux — an enhanced edition of Observer for next-generation consoles. More about the project in a recent interview with the development lead, Szymon Erdmanski. He talked about the added content in System Redux, technical improvements, and versions for different platforms.

The journalists asked the project head how much longer the remake would take to complete compared to the original. He replied, "New elements intertwine with the rest of the game, so it’s hard to specify an exact number. However, the average completion time should be about 20% longer. Of course, it all depends on the individual user’s playstyle."

In the conversation, Szymon Erdmanski also mentioned the technical improvements that will be implemented in Observer: System Redux. These include faster load times, refined textures, character models, and animations, new visual effects, as well as support for ray tracing. The director did not specify details about resolution and frame rate, as the team is still working on these aspects.

According to Szymon Erdmanski, Observer: System Redux is being developed with a focus on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but Bloober Team is still considering a release of the project for PC and Nintendo Switch. The release date of the game has not yet been disclosed.
