Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven studio have announced the expansion of the prison escape simulator Prison Architect, titled Island Bound. It will be released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on June 11.
Prison Architect was released in 2015. Over the years, the indie game has attracted more than four million gamers. Initially developed by Introversion Software, it was acquired by Paradox Interactive in 2019. the rights to Prison Architect and assigned the creation of expansions to Double Eleven studio. These expansions keep the game interesting and give players a reason to return to the simulator.
As the title suggests, Island Bound will allow you to create a prison on an island — your very own Alcatraz. You will also be able to add ferry and helicopter transport nodes to help deliver supplies and inmates. However, they also present a great opportunity for escape.
