Remedy Entertainment, together with 505 Games and Laced Record, announced the release of the soundtrack on vinyl records. The set can be pre-ordered on the website for £33. Delivery is scheduled for September 2020.
The set will include two records (in red and black), each weighing 180 grams. They will feature 16 specially selected tracks created by composers Petri Alanko and Martin Stig Anderson. The design of the sleeves that will hold the records was collaboratively developed by representatives of Remedy Entertainment and Laced Records.
As a reminder, the full soundtrack of the game is also available for free on Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. It is also offered via subscription on iTunes.
Control was released in August 2019 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Critics highly praised the game and it 82 points on Metacritic. The action received 11 nominations at the BAFTA Games Awards 2020 but won only one — for 'Best Performance in a Supporting Role.'
