The Hardkernel team has released the ODROID-N2 Plus developer board, which can be used to implement various projects in the fields of the Internet of Things, robotics, and more.
At the core of the solution is the Amlogic S922X Rev.C processor. Its six computing cores are configured in a big.LITTLE architecture: four Cortex-A73 cores operate at a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz, while two Cortex-A53 cores run at a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz. The chip includes a Mali-G52 GPU with a frequency of 846 MHz.
The single-board computer can carry either 2 or 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. For data storage, an eMMC flash module and a microSD card can be utilized.
The new model measures only 90 × 90 mm (100 × 91 × 18.75 mm with the cooling heatsink). It features an HDMI 2.0 interface for video output. There are four USB 3.0 ports, a Micro-USB port, and an RJ45 Ethernet cable socket (equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet controller).
The device can run the Android or Ubuntu 18.04/20.04 operating systems, as well as other platforms with a Linux kernel. The price starts at $63.
