Calc

New functions RAND.NV() and RANDBETWEEN.NV() have been added for generating pseudo-random numbers that do not recalculate with every table change, unlike functions RAND() and RANDBETWEEN()
Functions that accept regular expressions as arguments now support case sensitivity flags
In the TEXT() function, passing an empty string as the second argument is now supported for interaction with other implementations. If the first argument is a number or a text string that can be converted to a number, an empty string is returned. If the first argument is a text string that cannot be converted to a number, that text string is returned. In previous releases, an empty format string always resulted in an Err:502 (invalid argument) error.
In the OFFSET() function, the optional 4th parameter (Width) and 5th parameter (Height) must now be greater than 0 if specified, otherwise the result will be an Err:502 (invalid argument) error. In previous releases, a negative argument value was incorrectly interpreted as 1.
Optimizations have been made to improve performance when filling cells with rows, when working with auto filters, and when opening XLSX files with many images.
The keyboard shortcut Alt+= has been assigned to the SUM function by default, similar to Excel.

The positioning of superscripts and subscripts in text blocks has been corrected.

Optimizations have been made to enhance performance for cases involving list input with configured animation; when switching to table editing mode, and the opening time of some PPT files has been improved.

You can now set custom colors for symbols in RGB format. Use a construct like color rgb 0 100 0 {symbols} in the formula editor to achieve the desired color
A symbol for the Laplace transform ℒ (U+2112) has been added

Support for ODF 1.3 format has been added
Initial support for high-resolution HiDPI screens has been added to the kf5 backend (for use in the KDE environment)
You can now export documents larger than 200 inches to PDF
The OpenGL rendering mechanism has been replaced with the Skia library (for the Windows version)
Text effects have been redrawn
The built-in Image Gallery has been updated
Most built-in presentation templates for Impress have been redesigned in a 16:9 slide format instead of 4:3. Many templates have received style support
The Navigator in Writer has received numerous improvements:
- Categories that have no items are now highlighted in gray
- All categories now have new context menu items for quick access to elements, editing, renaming, and deletion
- Headings can be moved within the structure using the context menu
- A mechanism for tracking the current position of the cursor in the document has been added, highlighting the corresponding heading in the Navigator
- The navigation panel has been replaced with a dropdown list
- A tooltip displaying the character count in the text under the corresponding heading has been added

Help will no longer display correctly in IE11 (and never has, but this is now officially stated)
Several new pages dedicated to Basic have been added
Help pages now highlight headings in color depending on which module the help comes from

The EML+ file import filter has been improved
Saving in DOCX format is now done in the 2013/2016/2019 version instead of the previously used 2007. This will improve compatibility with MS Word
Several bugs in importing/exporting XLSX and PPTX formats have been fixed

A new icon theme, Sukapura, has been added. It will be used by default for the macOS version of the package. However, you can select it in the Options dialog yourself on any other OS
The Colibre and Sifr icon themes have been updated
The Tango icon theme has been removed as unsupported, but remains available as an extension
The program branding has been updated. This affected the installation dialog in Windows, the 'About' dialog, and the boot splash screen.
The presentation console (available with dual displays) has received a couple of new buttons to enhance usability.
The start center has fixed issues related to unnecessary scrolling of thumbnails in certain cases.

Dictionaries have been updated for Afrikaans, Catalan, English, Latvian, Slovak, Belarusian, and Russian languages.
The dictionary for the Russian language has been converted from KOI-8R to UTF.
