Now, a network source states that the call recording tool has begun to spread among owners of devices from the Chinese company Xiaomi.
It's worth noting that Xiaomi smartphones running on the MIUI interface come with a built-in call recording tool. However, the latest models sold outside of China, India, and Indonesia have pre-installed Google Phone and Google Messages apps that replaced Xiaomi's analogs.
According to available information, the call recording feature in Google Phone is already accessible to owners of global versions of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9S, and Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphones. This is reported by users on topic forums, adding that in some cases the feature disappears after restarting the device. It seems that Google is currently testing the call recording capability, and it will later become widely available.
