As a reason for halting development, Raymond Hill mentioned in a post two days ago that he cannot and will not spend any more time on the development and support of uMatrix. However, he did not rule out the possibility of returning to work on uMatrix and resuming development in the future. Those interested in continuing the development of uMatrix were offered to create a fork of the project under a new name.
