Vifm – a console file manager with Vim-like modal control and
some ideas borrowed from the email client mutt.
The new version updates the application state file format, enabling several new features. Other improvements include new
interface settings and various optimizations.
Key Changes:
- the ability to save a set of open tabs between restarts;
- session saving/loading;
- a new vifminfo format (data from the previous version is imported automatically);
- a more thoughtful merging of histories from multiple instances of the application, preventing potential loss of new elements;
- a 256-color version of the built-in color theme;
- the ability to flexibly customize the appearance of tabs;
- increased speed in processing configuration files;
- faster matching of files with pattern templates.
