As part of the ongoing development of the SpaceFM file manager at https://github.com/thermitegod/spacefm version 2.0.0 has been released.
SpaceFM is a fork of PCManFM from the LXDE project. It is known for its lightweight nature, configurability, high speed, and the ability to open more than two panels in one file manager window.
Changes:
- Transition to the Meson build system.
- Updated exo tools, glib and gtk+ functionalities.
- Added support for zstd, lz4, and git backend session files.
- Removed support for some outdated tools and technologies, such as fam/gamin, udisks1, md5, and others.
- Fixed compiler warnings.
