CRUX 3.6 has been released
The glibc dependencies now use python3. Python3 has moved from the OPT branch to the CORE packages.
The rpc and nls dependencies have been removed from glibc and separated into individual packages: libnsl and rpcsvc-proto.
The packages Mesa3d have been renamed to Mesa, openrdate to rdate, and jdk to jdk8-bin.
To attract more attention, the alias file for prt-get has been moved to /etc.
Default package versions:
glibc 2.32, gcc 10.2.0, and binutils 2.35.1, llvm 11.0.0-1
Xorg 7.7 and xorg-server 1.20.9
The recommended kernel is now 5.4.80 (LTS), but, as always, you can choose any.
It is recommended to perform a fresh update by default, as important packages with new versions break ABI compatibility.
