Rust programming language version 1.49 has been released.
The Rust compiler supports a wide range of systems, but the Rust team cannot guarantee the same level of support for all of them.
To clearly indicate how supported each system is, a tier system is used:
Level 3. The system is supported by the compiler, but no pre-built compiler binaries are provided, and tests are not run.
Level 2. Pre-built compiler binaries are provided, but tests are not run.
Level 1. Pre-built compiler binaries are provided and all tests are run.

What's new in version 1.49
Support for 64-bit ARM Linux has been upgraded to level 1 (the first system other than x86 systems to receive level 1 support).
Support for 64-bit ARM macOS has been upgraded to level 2.
Support for 64-bit ARM Windows has been upgraded to level 2.
Support for MIPS32r2 has been added at level 3. (used for PIC32 microcontrollers)
The built-in testing framework now outputs console output made in another thread.
Three functions from the standard library have been moved from Nightly to Stable:
Two functions are now marked as const (available at compile time):
The minimum LLVM version requirement has been raised to LLVM9 (previously LLVM8).
