After a year of development, the release of OpenMandriva Lx 4.2 has been announced. The project is being developed by the community after Mandriva S.A. transferred control of the project to the non-profit organization 'OpenMandriva Association.' A Live build of 2.4 GB (x86_64) is available for download, along with the 'znver1' build optimized for AMD Ryzen, ThreadRipper, and EPYC processors, as well as images for ARM devices such as the Pinebook Pro, Rock Pi 4(A/B/C), Raspberry Pi 400, Raspberry Pi 4B, and Raspberry Pi 3B+.
