An experimental release of the open implementation of WinAPI — Wine 6.4 has taken place. Since the release of version 6.3, 38 bug reports have been closed and 396 changes have been made.
The most significant changes:
- Support for the DTLS protocol has been added.
- DirectWrite now supports manipulation of font sets (FontSet), defining filters for font sets, and calls to GetFontFaceReference(), GetFontSet(), and GetSystemFontSet(), allowing access to information about locally installed fonts and system fonts, including those available in Windows 10 but currently not installed.
- A dialog for editing elements in access control lists has been added.
- The number of interface elements for which style changes through themes are supported has been expanded.
- Support for multiple independent screens has been added for PowerPoint, OpenOffice.org, and similar applications.
- Bug reports related to games and applications have been closed: RTG Bills 2.x, Civilization IV Beyond the Sword, Turbocad 8.0, Acrobat Reader XI, Canon MP Navigator EX 4.x/5.x, WIBUKEY, Denuvo Anti-Cheat, Soldiers of Anarchy, NVIDIA PhysX System Software 9.12.1031, Futubull 10.x, Melodics V2, Topaz Video Enhance AI 1.x, The Elder Scrolls V, Entropia Universe, Horizon Zero Dawn, Serious Sam 4, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Neverwinter, Final Fantasy XI Online, Filmotech 3.91, Acrobat 8.x, FrameMaker 8.
