An experimental release of the open-source implementation of WinAPI — Wine 6.5 has occurred. Since the release of version 6.4, 25 bug reports have been closed and 413 changes have been made.
The most significant changes:
- Support for the OpenCL 1.2 specification has been added, defining the API and language extensions for organizing cross-platform parallel computations using multicore CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, DSPs, and other specialized chips.
- The MSHTML library has added support for additional compatibility modes with Internet Explorer.
- Improved functionality of RichEdit forms in windowless mode.
- New stubs have been added to the WinRT library.
