The ninth point release of the Debian 10 distribution has been published, which includes accumulated package updates and resolves issues in the installer. The release features 45 updates addressing stability issues and 30 updates fixing vulnerabilities. Among the changes in Debian 10.9, notable updates include a new stable version of the postgresql-11 package and the addition of UEFI SBAT (Secure Boot Advanced Targeting) support in fwupd.
Installation builds will be prepared in the coming hours for downloading and fresh installations, along with a live iso-hybrid of Debian 10.9. Previously installed systems that remain up-to-date will receive the updates available in Debian 10.9 through the standard update installation system. Security fixes included in the new Debian releases are available to users as updates are released via the security.debian.org service.
