Good afternoon, dear Habr residents! The aim of this article is to provide a brief overview of the capabilities for deploying various systems using WDS (Windows Deployment Services). The article will include brief instructions for deploying Windows 7 x64, Windows XP x86, Ubuntu x64, and incorporating useful tools for network booting such as Memtest and Gparted. The narrative will unfold in order […]
We are considering expanding the capabilities of System Center Configuration Manager (a product for IT infrastructure management) when booting user PCs over the network using PXE. We create a boot menu based on PXELinux with System Center functionality and add features for antivirus scanning, diagnostic and recovery images. At the end of the article, we touch upon the features of System Center 2012 Configuration Manager working together with Windows Deployment Services (WDS) […]

SciPy (pronounced as sigh pie) is a mathematical package based on numpy, which also includes libraries in C and Fortran. With SciPy, an interactive Python session transforms into a fully capable data processing environment, similar to MATLAB, IDL, Octave, R, or SciLab. This article will explore the key techniques of mathematical programming — solving constrained optimization problems for […]
SciPy (pronounced as 'sigh pie') is a package of applied mathematical procedures built on the Numpy Python extension. With SciPy, an interactive Python session transforms into a full-fledged data processing and complex systems prototyping environment, similar to MATLAB, IDL, Octave, R-Lab, and SciLab. Today, I want to briefly talk about how to apply some well-known optimization algorithms in […]
