University of Minnesota suspended from Linux kernel development for submitting dubious patches
Greg Kroah-Hartman, responsible for maintaining the stable branch of the Linux kernel, decided to prohibit the acceptance of any changes coming from the University of Minnesota into the Linux kernel, and also to roll back all previously accepted patches and re-review them.
