Due to the absence of a dedicated interface for the 1C server, various tools are used for management, particularly the standard Administration Utility of the client-server version.
Main tasks of the 1C:Enterprise Server Administration Utility:
— creation, modification, and deletion of servers;
— creation of administrators;
— creation and deletion of cluster working processes;
— creation and deletion of information databases;
— forced termination of sessions;
— blocking new connections.
To create a Central 1C server, use the menu to highlight the line Central 1C Servers and add a new Central 1C:Enterprise 8.2 server. Then, its IP address and the name of the 1C server are entered in the pop-up window.
When creating 1C administrators, administrators are added in the corresponding window, which can only administer their own server. It is not necessary to be an administrator to manage the cluster.
Creating Working Processes for 1C Cluster: working servers are added that affect the performance for users. Servers are distributed across working processes.
Creating and Deleting Information Databases: in the Information Databases window, you should consider whether it is better to delete or create a new one. The following operations exist: blocking the initiation of sessions enabled – prohibits connection to the database; message – when blocked, a connection attempt is suggested; resolution code: despite the blocking, a connection can be made.
Terminating a 1C User Session: selecting the required information database and viewing its sessions. Sessions can be deleted if necessary at the user's discretion.
Administration servers 1c Enterprises need it, for example, when a computer freezes and there is no way to launch the 1C program. The message indicates that someone else is logged in under that user. This happens because there are 'available' sessions on the 1C server that unauthorized clients can access. It creates a challenging situation when a monopoly mode is needed to terminate the process, but it's hard to achieve. The administration console helps identify the issue and can resolve it.
