The portfolio of Extreme Networks switches has been expanded with the ExtremeSwitching X465 family, the line of which is represented by six models with "copper" ports (the release of "optics" is expected in the near future). In fact, the ExtremeSwitching X465 is the third generation and logical continuation of the Summit X460 and Summit X460G2 switches. They are “universal” in the sense that they can be installed at any level of the network, both for access and in the core or distribution. The line consists of four gigabit and two multi-gigabit switches, all models support stacking. At the same time, only multi-gigabit models support "Insight architecture", and therefore have increased RAM and CPU
