Introducing 3CX V16 with Website Communication Widget

Last week we released 3CX v16 and the 3CX Live Chat & Talk Communication Widget that can work with any website, not just the WordPress CMS.

3CX v16 allows customers to quickly connect with your company, offering powerful and efficient call processing technologies - a call center with call distribution by agent skills, a web service for monitoring quality of service (SLA), and improved call records management.

In addition to the contact center, the new 3CX has improved performance, new security technologies, improved administration tools, chat, video conferencing and integration with Office 365. This is the first communication system in the industry to successfully run on the Raspberry Pi.

The new 3CX Live Chat & Talk communication widget allows a site visitor to start a chat, call or video call to your sales team with a single click. This is the simplest, "direct" and completely free way of communication, which, moreover, is conveniently "conducted" by your employees. The uniqueness of the 3CX approach is that the chat can be transferred to a voice call at any time - without a separate phone call, when the client can get to a completely different person. Your business gets new loyal customers, and employees do not need to master some third-party "chat for the site" that requires, moreover, a monthly payment.

The 3CX Live Chat & Talk widget comes as a WordPress plugin and as a set of scripts for any CMS. You can arrange the widget in the design of the site or in accordance with the expectations of your visitors. For example, you can set your own welcome message, the names of the managers who answer questions, allow or deny video calls, and so on.

Widget installation is very simple and consists of 3 steps:

  1. Set the widget parameters in the 3CX management interface to set up a communication channel between the PBX and the site.
  2. Download widget files and set the options and colors to match your website design.
  3. Copy the CSS to the site's HTML content.

  • Full integration with Office 365, including synchronization of contacts and user statuses. The integration works on the PBX server side. All Office 365 subscriptions are supported.
  • Improved Corporate Chat - Image, file and emoji transfer added.
  • Support for dialers (dialers) of some CRMs, in particular Salesforce, allows you to call directly from the interface of the CRM system.
