Introducing the new 3CX Call Flow Designer and 3CX CRM Template Generator

New 3CX Call Flow Designer with Visual Expression Editor

3CX adheres to the principle that our products should be simple and understandable. And so we once again updated the 3CX Call Flow Designer (CFD) voice application development environment. The new version has a modern user interface (new icons) and a visual editor editor of expressions used when creating scripts.

The new version of CFD offers the following features:

• Visual creation of expressions. You can drag and drop built-in functions, variables, and constants from the Expression Elements section. You can create complex expressions intuitively without having to open multiple editor windows.
• Quick selection of functions. Built-in functions are now grouped into convenient categories, from which you can quickly select the desired function.
• Dynamic inclusion of constants. The available constants are dynamically included in the Expression Elements panel when the corresponding components are added to the CFD workspace.

Note that the new "Transfer" component can only transfer a call to an extension's voicemail in 3CX v16 Update 2.

Download new 3CX CFDs or update the installed one through the update menu. After that, you can run voice applications on 3CX v16 Update 2.

New 3CX CRM Template Generator to connect your CRM

We have also released a new version of the template generation tool for connecting your own CRM systems to 3CX. The new version of CRM Template Generator has an XML Template Creation Wizard that will guide you through all the steps until you get a ready and working integration.

To get started, check out the RESTful API documentation for your CRM. Then run the Template Generation Wizard.

• Follow the Wizard's prompts by specifying the appropriate parameters from your CRM API documentation.
• Creating an XML template requires basic programming skills and CRM support for a RESTful API.
• When the wizard is running, each section of the template is correctly formed with all the required parameters included in it.
