We invite developers to Think Developers Workshop

We invite developers to Think Developers Workshop

According to a good, but not yet established tradition, we are holding an open technical meetup in May!
This year, the meetup will be “spiced up” with a practical part, and you will be able to look into our “garage” and do some assembly and programming.

Date: May 15, 2019, Moscow.

Other useful information under the cut.

You can register and view the program at site of the event

Registration is required!

At 15.00 we will open the doors of our "garage", and you will be able to build and program TjBot with us - a small but very smart cardboard robot controlled by IBM Watson Services.

What do you need to participate?

  • Register for the session (do not forget to check the appropriate box in the registration form) and get confirmation!
  • Sign up for the IBM Cloud - https://cloud.ibm.com
  • Sign up on github.
  • Bring your laptop and good mood!

At 18.00 we open a meetup! This time we decided to surprise everyone a bit and make a meetup not on technologies, let alone IBM products, but on Open Source!

The format provides for short performances of 10 minutes in order, of course, to do more in less time. As part of the meetup, there will be both technological hardcore and “lighter” questions:

  • Service mesh - why is everyone talking and writing about it?
  • OpenLiberty - what is this beast?
  • How to successfully build an open source development team in a bloody enterprise.
  • “I don’t want to be a manager” - how you can build a career as a technical specialist (IBM experience).
  • Newbie FAQ: How to become part of the open source community.
  • How we built the bank's front-end system entirely on open source project experience.
  • How I work in a corporation, but upload the code to an open github - the experience of an OpenStack developer.
