I took it out of a dusty closet I really needed ZXHN H118N from Dom.ru.
The problem is in its scanty firmware, which is tied to the dom.ru provider (ErTelecom), where you can only enter the PPPOE login and password to connect to the Internet.
This functionality is enough for a housewife, but not for me.
Therefore, we will reflash this router!
The first difficulty is that it is also impossible to reflash it. Dom.ru took care of this thoroughly. It is possible only for Dom.ru firmware. But in the old dom.ru firmware, to which you can roll back (downgrade), it has the ability to upload the original version of the ZTE firmware.
1. Enter in the address bar then press any hieroglyph - it will show the factory webcam.
2. Go to the "Management" page
3. Firmware Upgrade Tab
4. First, flash with firmware from DOMRU - (Old dom.ru firmware with the possibility of an upgrade).
5. After the firmware, the router receives an IP - 192.168.0.1. But through the WEB face does not go. It is possible only through TELNET - User: root Pass: root (this is for anyone interested).
6. By pressing the reset button, we transfer it to the default state.
6.1. Perhaps the router will change the address to 192.168.1.1, as well as in the settings of your device connected to the router, you need to manually enter the details
IP 192.168.1.2
mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1
Without this, at 192.168.1.1, I was redirected to a 404 page
7. WEB access appears with user: admin pass: admin
