Implementation of the work scheme of address storage of goods based on the block of warehouse accounting "1C Integrated Automation 2"

The warehouse accounting subsystem in the 1C.Complex Automation 2 software product allows you to work with a warrant warehouse model and use an address storage scheme. With its help, it becomes possible to fulfill the following requirements:

✓ Organize the process of address storage of goods in storage cells.

✓ Flexibly set up rules for storage, placement, selection of nomenclature positions in cells.

✓ Automatically place incoming goods in cells in accordance with the placement rules configured in the subsystem.

✓ Automatically select item positions from cells in accordance with flexible selection rules. At the same time, it is possible to configure warehouse bypass rules in accordance with the requirements of priority picking. And also set rules for bypassing the warehouse when assembling orders.

✓ Receive in a convenient form information about the current distribution of goods in warehouse cells at any time.

✓ With appropriate settings, it is possible to use specialized electronic devices in the subsystem, for example, a data collection terminal (TSD) or a barcode scanner. This allows you to replace manual input and significantly minimize errors.

✓ Separate the process of acceptance and shipment at the level of individual workstations. Use mobile workstations for warehouse employees.

✓ Reflect the general operations of goods movement: movement, assembly / disassembly of goods, damage, posting, sorting and others.

In a few words, let's define the address warehouse. What is meant by this term? An address warehouse is essentially a process of optimizing the storage of goods in a warehouse, in which the warehouse is divided into many cells, each of which is assigned a unique identifier - an address that distinguishes it from other cells. Cells, in turn, are united by the conditions of storage of goods, according to their purpose, according to the characteristics of the placed goods.

In the process of building a working model based on the warehouse accounting subsystem, the easier and more convenient it will be to organize accounting, the more detailed the following reference and subject information will be defined and entered into the system:

  1. The scheme of the warehouse, or in other words, its topology, has been determined and drawn up. The composition and order of sections, lines, racks, tiers is determined.
  2. The geometric (width, height, depth) and physical (weight) parameters of the cells are predefined.
  3. Rules for the joint placement of different goods in cells have been drawn up.
  4. For each nomenclature item, the types of packaging in which the nomenclature is stored must be defined, for example, showbox, box, pallet. For each type of packaging, geometric and physical parameters must be specified.
  5. Set auxiliary entities - "storage areas" - for which the parameters of placement / selection of goods in cells, rules for the joint placement of goods, additional placement / selection conditions will be determined.

In the general case, goods of completely different shapes, aggregate states, and geometric dimensions can be stored in a warehouse. It is quite obvious that the conditions for storing goods in this case will differ from each other. Storage rules - whether to store goods of only one type in the cell (the so-called single-merchandise cell), or several types. How to place goods - taking into account the priority of mono-commodity, or the priority of emptying cells, how to select goods from cells - ensuring the fastest release, or forming more single-commodity storage, selecting first of all from mixed cells. These rules and policies are set in a specialized setting, the storage area mentioned above.

When building accounting at an address warehouse in an automated system, it is necessary to start building accounting by entering the most elementary parameters - the geometric and physical parameters of item positions. Then enter relationships in the hierarchy between product packaging options, for example, product unit (1 pc) - showbox (10 product units) - box (5 showbox units) - pallet (10 box units). After that, set entities of a higher order - the storage areas of the item, in which the rules for the joint placement of item positions, the strategy for placing and selecting to / from cells are determined. It is recommended to form the warehouse topology at the final stages, when the vast majority of other parameters have already been determined.

In the literature, first of all, the formation of the topology of the address warehouse is considered, and then the input of the remaining parameters is already assumed. With this approach, it is easy to get confused and lose the logical relationship between the introduced entities. Therefore, it is necessary to enter parameters from elementary and less dependent to composite and more unifying.

For an example of a possible implementation of a specific business process, let's consider a real example of a two-stage goods acceptance process at an address warehouse.

The following logistics units are defined in the address warehouse:

✓ Thing

✓ Show box

✓ Box / factory packaging

✓ Warehouse pallet

Also, address storage cells for storing goods of the following types are defined:

✓ Stuffed rack, a single cell is taken equal to one pallet, or a “column” of pallets in height;

✓ Front rack, shelves above 2 meters, the cell is also taken equal to one pallet;

✓ Front rack, shelves below 2 meters, cells are conditionally accepted as equal to one pallet, but may vary depending on requirements, a set of boxes is made in this area on orders;

✓ Shelf rack, individual goods or show boxes are placed in address cells, designed for a set of smaller orders.

Types of cells of the address warehouse for storing goods

When using logistic units and storage features defined above, it is supposed to implement a composite process of goods acceptance to the address warehouse.

The flowchart shows the two-stage acceptance business process, which includes product labeling and placement.

The flowchart shows the two-stage acceptance business process, which includes product labeling and placement.

Implementation of the work scheme of address storage of goods based on the block of warehouse accounting "1C Integrated Automation 2"

As can be seen from the flowchart above, the labeling process is only omitted if individual pallets are placed in the drive-in and front racks. In all other cases, the accepted product goes through the labeling process.

It is possible to single out the marking process by introducing additional entities provided by the KA system - premises.

Two rooms are being introduced - for labeling and for storage.

The process of acceptance and shipment in individual premises can be configured separately. Also, you can separately configure the rules for storage and placement in the premises of the address warehouse. The system provides the ability to register the movement of goods from one location to another within the same address warehouse. The address warehouse management subsystem allows you to use such a movement as the basis for a task for automatic placement in a storage room.

It is advisable during the implementation to allocate physically, rather than logically, premises for labeling and storage within one address warehouse, so that the marked goods get into the storage premises according to a separate task for placement according to a separate process. With this approach, the goods in the storage area will be guaranteed to be marked and the selection of unmarked goods for shipment is excluded.

In other words, two separate processes are specifically distinguished:

1. Labeling process

Commodity items after the acceptance process enter the marking room, where they remain until the end of the marking. After the labeling is completed, the transfer from the labeling room to the storage room of the address warehouse is processed.

2. Placement process

The placement process (distribution of received goods into bins) is based on the appropriate settings for placing product items into bins, and, in general, reflects the required algorithm. The standard algorithm does not estimate the filling of a pallet, the distribution is performed in an atomic form in accordance with the set of storage packages for a given type of item. That is, if there is an understaffed pallet, then for correct placement, it must be unpacked into smaller components and placed.

When placing, the operator can use both automatic determination of cell addresses, and set them manually. At the same time, it is also possible to regulate the frequency of demand by setting the cell selection priority, expressed as a number and defined in the settings.

Thus, the implemented scheme of address warehouse storage in the warehouse accounting subsystem of typical configurations, such as “1C ERP. Enterprise management”, “1C. Integrated automation, allows you to solve a wide range of complex tasks, while having flexible settings for emerging requirements.
