The service is quite popular in the USA. Service Experts to remotely hire plumbers, heating specialists, air conditioning specialists and so on. In Russia, there are also similar sites: it is very convenient to quickly find a master. Although in the current conditions it is better to nail this shelf on your own in order not to contact anyone at all. Anyway, recently USAFact (a screening provider for thousands of companies, including Service Experts) signed an agreement from GlobalSign to a custom implementation of the Digital Signing Service, which was deployed in four months - and is now valid for pre-screening of all Service Experts.

This is an example of how you can organize the remote work of employees with the correct paperwork. relevant in the current situation.

Companies are moving to digital signatures because of their clear benefits:

  • Paperless workflow. Saving time, money and resources.
  • Effective business processes. Signing electronically makes every transaction a smoother process.
  • Mobile capabilities. Communication within the organization and with customers becomes easier.

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) ensures the integrity and authenticity of each document. Timestamps certify the time a document was signed, which is necessary for time-bound transactions, non-repudiation, and data retention for auditing. The entire document management system with digital signatures must comply with the necessary requirements in force in the country of jurisdiction, as well as in the countries where partners and clients work.

Digital Signing Service (DSS) is a scalable, API-enabled platform for rapidly deploying digital signatures that provides:

  • Digital signature of the hash of any document or digital transaction in the PKI setup
  • Issuance of a signing certificate
  • Support for AATL and Microsoft Root
  • Storage of private keys based on HSM
  • Checking the recall required for the audit
  • Advanced electronic seals and, once accredited, qualified signatures compliant with the eIDAS standard

The cloud service greatly simplifies the deployment of a document management system with support for digital signatures. All operations simply go through the API.

Returning to Service Experts, they recently launched a new offering designed to make customer service easier. But this required the ability to create reliable contracts at customers' homes. Service Experts partnered with USAFact to develop a web application that guided the service vendor through various calculations, allowing the required information to be entered before generating a PDF file that could be electronically signed and committed. When it became apparent that the initial solution was not reliable, USAFact began looking for a better solution. She ultimately chose GlobalSign for a custom digital signature application.

After the completion of the pilot program, Service Experts is going to deploy cloud-based DSS in all 94 US branches and 600 field offices. All users can be sure that any information collected will remain up-to-date and secure, both now and in the future.

The Digital Signing Service provides everything you need to deploy digital signatures with one simple REST API integration. All supporting cryptographic components, including signing certificates, key management, timestamp server, and OCSP or CRL service, are provided in a single API call with minimal development and no local hardware to manage.
