A small digression: who wants to take the time to find out why I started to redo it at all, please, under /cut.
This article is not about how I took a pity, regretted 1000 rubles and did not buy a router with usb support, but about the real problem of our only Internet provider in the area, which does not want to work normally, but takes payment willingly and on time.
Quite a long time ago, I bought a keenetic kn-1310 router. When choosing at that time, extras were not important to me at all. options like connecting usb drives and modems, so I bought the most budget one.
I was just tired of butting with the provider and decided to switch to mobile Internet, since our hspa + and lte coverage is wonderful. But this router does not have usb support, unlike its older brothers, and banal curiosity led to its opening ...
Let's get started.
Having opened the router, we see an unsoldered usb port, looking at the datasheet on the processor
I dropped the jumpers from the old dsl modem, but you can solder the wires.
Then you need to apply + 5v to the usb port, for this you need to either solder the entire harness as in the diagram, or use any dc-dc down converter since the router is powered by + 9v.
I have a lot of chargers used in cars so I prikolhozil one of them.
Here is the diagram from where I took the power + 9v and where it is necessary to apply + 5v to usb:

Next, you need to flash our router, for this we download
I will not paint the flashing process
After this manipulation, the router will support a usb modem, who needs support for drives, flash it under kn-1410.
Thank you all for your attention, I hope it will be useful to someone.
